High School Equivalency Preparation
Program Curriculum
Hello and Welcome!
- We prepare students to pass the NYS High School Equivalency (GED) exam and have an outstanding record of student success. We offer a vigorous program taught by highly qualified instructors with years of experience.
The program combines individual instruction with group interaction. Our new GED preparation application supplements and enhaces your level of learning. The GED exam is made up of four subjects, divided into separate tests which are covered in depth. The skills learned in our program not only prepares you to pass the exam, but provides you with advanced skills that will enhance your opportunities while exploring the job market. Our High School Equivalency preparation is at the level of many college introductory courses.
Things to Know
All classes are delivered in person – which means your classroom experince provides face-to-face learning in the classroom with experienced instructors that guide and motivate you to complete your goal of attaining your GED .
Class meet times are:
Day – Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Evening – Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
*Please note:
- Must meet math and reading assessment requirements. (You will be given a TABE assessment for this)
- Must be able to attend all sessions; attendance in classes is strictly observed
