About Us
SUNY North Bronx Career Counseling & Outreach Center opened its doors in January of 1997 with an intergenerational approach to community-based learning serving residents in the Northeast Bronx and Southeastern reaches of Westchester County as a response to the critical shortage of academic & vocational training programs in the Northeast section of the Bronx.
What We Offer
The North Bronx offers tuition-free academic and career programs to prepare students for college and employment opportunities enabling them to thrive in the 21st-century economy. From GED & ESOL classes, College Assistance, Computer Literacy workshops for adults, Microsoft Certifications courses, along with an array of other services, the NBCCOC is here to help you excel both academically/vocationally and prepared to complete in a global economy in the workforce.
